Benutzer löschen für Semantic Scuttle 0.89

Seit ein paar Wochen verwende ich für meine Lesezeichen nun Semantic Scuttle 0.89, eine Weiterentwicklung von Scuttle. Eigentlich für “Social Bookmarks” gedacht, läßt sich die Software auch ganz gut für Sammlung persönlicher Lesezeichen verwenden. Der Vorteil, man hat immer Zugriff darauf, egal von wo und mit welchem Browser man ins Internet geht.
Semantic Scuttle 0.89 läßt sich schon sehr gut einsetzen, jedoch fehlen noch einige Funktionen. Darunter auch die Funktion unerwünschte User (Spammer) schnell und einfach inklusive ihrer Bookmarks zu löschen. Im Scuttle Patches Tracker fand sich eine Lösung von Andreas Jaggi. Da diese Lösung vielleicht nicht für jeden so leicht umzusetzen ist, habe ich die nötigen Modifikation gemacht und zum Download bereitgestellt. Eine Anleitung zur Installation kann man in der readme.txt finden.

funcion in my site. I have a question: Have i put some lines in
DATABASE on my web site? Or this files u give to us is enough?

Hello Kiten,
no, you don’t have to modify your Database. Just ensure, that you set the right name as an admin in your config.inc.php. ($admin_users = array(’XYZ’); XYZ should be your name).
But as you wrote me via email, you fixed your problem already.

Well, Semantic Scuttle is a further development of Scuttle and it could be a starting point for building up a social bookmarking system. For managing your own bookmarks (one single person) or for small groups (projects, associations …) you can use it out of the box. If you have the intention to compete with services like Mister Wong, del.icio.us, Digg, etc. there is a lot of additional work needed. It is also questionable if it is nowadays possible to establish another big social bookmarking system. In my opinion there are already to many services for social bookmarks available, but maybe you have a good idea and I’m wrong.
