Panoramas with the Plugin WP PTViewer

Saturday, July 05th, 2008 | Author: Andreas

I just found the Wordpress Plugin to display panoramas (WP PTViewer). I like it and it will help me to publish my panoramas step by step.

Panorama Hradec Králové

But why this plugin always tries to access “http://akeller.eu/PTDefault.html“, which delivers 404-errors, I don’t understand but I will investigate and find the problem.

But for now the first panorama. Try it, with the mouse you can move the picture.

  1. Love it. Do you know: Can the large size also have an outbound
    link, or does that take extra coding? Also, which Ajax mod are you
    using for comment previews? Is it GPL or custom? Thanks.

  2. What do you mean with “large size”? Probably the panorama shown by ptviewer.jar. The Wordpress plugin WP PTViewer doesn’t provide this function. Anyway if you click on the panorama you are able to drag the panorama by holding down the mouse-button. For an outbound link you may use the title of the panorama because this is a normal text given as a parameter to the plugin.

    The original PTViewer provides the ability to use hotspots, which can be used to link other documents to specific points in the panorama. See documentation

    The Wordpress Plugin for previewing comments is called “Live Comment Preview”.

  3. Great, thank you. :)

  4. Hi, ich versuche gerade auf meiner Seite Panoramen einzubinden aber
    die werden einfach nicht dargestellt. Wie bindest du zb. obiges
    Bild genau ein ?

  5. Hallo Roman (K. :wink: )
    Ohje, das ist schon lange her, im Quelltext steht:

    [ptviewer href="http://akeller.eu/PFAD/BILD.jpg" imagewidth="1895"
    imageheight="400" horizon="200" hfov="145" auto="-0.1"]

    Wobei die Funktion “auto” von mir integriert wurde, siehe hier: WP-PTViewer: Lösung für 404 und neue Funktion auto

    BTW: Schöne Homepage

    Viel Erfolg
    Andreas

  6. Thanks for your great work!

  7. Hello! I think that PT viewer is a great plugin, but I have a
    problem: I write [ptviewer
    href="http://aeffemultimedia.altervista.org/home/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/Lubenice.jpg"
    imagewidth="964" imageheight="257" horizon="150" hfov="200"]
    Lubenice but I get this error: PT Viewer tag error: a required
    parameter has not been provided. ………….. Applet height: 240
    Image width: Image height: 257 …………. As if I didn’t insert
    the image width.. What’s happening?

You also want to have a avatar beside your comment? Than you have to get an account at Gravatar.com and your picture will shown automatically beside your comment in a lot of Wordpress-blogs.
If your comment contains too many links it has to be released by the moderator, this may take some time. Nevertheless, I would be delighted if you would leave some lines.
